Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information. Last updated: July 2025.

Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi (KnK) Japan — Pakistan ("KnK", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, how it is stored, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Newsletter signups: your email address, optional first name, and your chosen interest area.
  • Contact, volunteer, vendor & collaboration forms: the details you submit (such as name, email, phone and message).
  • Basic technical data: standard server logs needed to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, process your request, or — where you have opted in — send you our newsletter. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Consent & the newsletter

We use double opt-in: after you sign up, we email you a confirmation link, and you are only added once you click it. Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Where your data is stored

Newsletter subscriptions are managed by our email provider (Resend). Website content is managed in our content system (Sanity), and the site is hosted on Microsoft Azure. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and data-protection commitments.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop contacting you, at any time. As an organisation with international supporters, we aim to honour GDPR-style rights including deletion on request.
